Projects
Our most current project involves working to support the Centro de Información para Trabajadoras y Trabajadores (CITTAC), a non-governmental organization of women and men from Baja California, Mexico that promotes, publicizes, supports and accompanies workers' struggles - especially within the maquiladora industry - to better their labor and living conditions, defend their human rights (especially those related to labor and gender), and create autonomous and democratic organizations.
Recently, the Ocean Beach Chapter of Amnesty International made two trips to the office of CITTAC in Tijuana as part of a Maquiladora Solidarity Network informational tour. The OB Chapter donated office supplies to CITTAC to help them in carrying out their mission.
